Nanotechnology
Conclave 2008, CII's mega international
event, is scheduled to be held, for the
first time ever, in Chennai, Tamilnadu,
from 19-20 March 2008. Chennai, a metropolitan
and the capital of Tamilnadu state, is home
to a large number of multinational companies.
Often called the Detroit of India, Gateway
to south India and now turning to be the
electronic city of India – Chennai
typifies the new, emergent India! Tamilnadu
is the Partner State at this very prestigious
conference.

The Nanotechnology Conclave
is the annual flagship event to bring technologists,
scientists, academicians and users in the
intellectual platform for discussing the
various aspects of developments and collaborations,
which started, as an event on connecting
the business to research has become one
of the most important international technology
events in the country. It aims to further
partnerships, to build ideologies based
on shared dreams and visions that bring
high potential research to meet the industry
in our knowledge driven world.
Nanotechnology
Conclave, now in its third year, has regularly
featured Heads of States and Governments,
Ministers, senior Bureaucrats, Academicians
and CEOs. The previous two conclaves were
held in New Delhi, has established itself
as an ideal ground for business networking
and sharing of nanoscience concerns where
scientists seek a focused view. The former
presidents and the leading scientist of
India, Dr. A.P.J Kalam has addressed the
Nanotechnology conclave 2006.
Nanotechnology
Conclave traditionally sees almost a 250
delegates with almost 40% from overseas.
The conclave is generally partnered with
a foreign country, conclave 2006 and 2007
were partnered with the US and the UK. This
year India will partner with Japan who is
ahead in the area of nanoscience.
