Sub:  Eradication of Child Labour – Observance of ‘Anti Child Labour Day' - Taking of pledge throughout the State on 12 th June of every year – Orders – Issued- Further instructions-Reg.

In the G.O. cited orders have been issued to observe 12 th June of every year as ‘Anti Child Labour Day' and a pledge as in the Annexure of the said G.O. should be taken on that day in all schools, Offices, Factories, other establishments, all Government Offices, throughout the State to focus Public attention on this subject. The Government has also directed that if 12 th June happens to be a Government holiday, and the pledge be taken on the previous working day.

2. During this year the 12 th June happens to be a  Government holiday. All the District Collectors in the respective Districts are therefore requested to observe ‘Anti Child Labour Day' and to administer the pledge as in the Annexure to this letter on 10.6.2005 at 11.00 A.M.
