ORDER:
In the Government Order first
read above orders were issued to publish a confirmation
Notification to revise further the minimum rates
of wages for employment in Sea Food processing
Industry. The Notification was published in the
Tamil Nadu Government Gazette twice inadvertantly
as Notification No .II (2) LE /598/2003 at page
355 in part II section 2, dated 24.9.2003 and as
Notification No. II(2) LE/637/2003 of part II,
Section 2, dated 1.10.2003 at pages 379 -380.
2. The Commissioner of Labour
in his letter fourth read above has stated that
as requested by the Works Manager Government Central
Press, Chennai-79. the Notification published on
1.10.2003 for the second time may be cancelled.
3. The Government after careful
examination accept the proposal of the Commissioner
of Labour and cancel the Notification No.II (2)/LE
/637/2003 published in the Tamil Nadu Government
Gazette on 1.10.2003.
4. The appended Notification will
therefore be published in the Tamil Nadu Government
Gazette both in English and Tamil. The Tamil Development
Culture and Religious Endowments (Translation)
Department, Secretariat, Chennai is requested to
supply the work's Manager ,Government Central Press
, Chennai-79 with Tamil Translation of the Notification. (BY ORDER

NOTIFICATION.
In exercise of the powers conferred
by clause (b) of sub- section (1) of section 3
and sub-section (2) of section 5 of the Minimum
Wages Act, 1948 (Central Act XI of 1948), the Governor
of Tamil Nadu hereby cancels the Labour and Employment
Department Notification No. II (2) LE / 637/2003,
published at pages 379 to 380 of Part II-Section
2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated 1
st October 2003.
