ORDER:

In the Budget Estimate 2004 - 2005 a sum of Rs.12.00 Crores has been provided towards disbursement of the subsidy (individual based subsidy) in respect of the units assisted by the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited, In Government orders first and third read above Government have released a sum of Rs.28,62,223/- (Rupees Twenty Eight Lakhs Sixty Two Thousand Two hundred and Twenty Three only) towards state capital subsidy for the industrial units assisted by TIIC. The Managing Director, The Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited, in her letter second read above, has now requested the Government to release the balance sum of Rs.11,71,37,777/- (Rupees Eleven crores seventy one lakhs thirty seven thousand seven hundred and seventy seven only) for disbursement of State Capital Subsidy to the medium and large Industries.

2. The Government after careful examination of the request of the Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited, have decided to sanction a sum of Rs.11,71,37,777/- (Rupees Eleven crores seventy one lakhs, thirty seven thousand and seven hundred and seventy seven only) to the Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited, towards disbursement of State Capital Subsidy for the industrial units at medium and large industries.

3. The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debited to the following head of account"

"2885 - Other outlays on Industries & Minerals – 01 Industrial Financial Institutions - 101, Assistance to Industrial Financial Institutions - Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan - II State Plan - JD Assistance to the Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation Ltd., towards Share Subsidy to industrial units - 11 - Subsidies - 01 - individual based subsidy (D.P.Code No.2885-01-101-JD-1113)

4. The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above, shall be credited to Personal Deposit Account of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Ltd., viz. 'K Deposits and Advances -(b), Deposit not bearing interest - 8443 - 00 - Civil Deposits - 800, Other Deposits - AE Deposits of Government Companies, Corporations, etc. - 01. Deposits of Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Ltd., (DP Code No.8443 - 00 - 800 - AE 010H) (Receipts)

5. The Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce is authorised to draw the amount sanctioned in para 2 above and credit it to the Personal Deposit Account of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited.

6. The Managing Director, The Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited is requested to follow the guidelines issued by the Government for sanction of subsidy (individual based subsidy) maintain proper disbursement of the subsidy and obtain stamped receipts from the units assisted.

7. The Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce is directed to obtain the utilization certificate from the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited and send it to Government.

8. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No.21186/Ind/05-1, dated 24.3.05.
