ORDER:

In the Government Order first read above, orders were issued to set up the committee for Industrial Clearance in the Districts consisting of District Collector as Chairman, General Manager, District Industries Centre as Convenor representative from TNEB and Pollution Control Board, as members.

2. In the letter second read above, the Managing Director, TIIC has stated that the Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited is to take up the role of a facilitator for its clients in order to ensure timely implementation of projects, which will help the entrepreneurs and requested to consider to include the respective Branch Managers of Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited as one of the members in the Single Window Clearance Committee at the District level to offer a value added service to the entrepreneurs who are setting up / expanding their units in this State.

3. In the letter third read above, the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce has also requested the Government to consider the request of Managing Director, Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited for including the Branch Managers of Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited as one of the Members of Single Window Clearance Committee at the District Level.

4. The Government, after careful examination have decided to accept the proposal of the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce and direct that the respective Branch Managers of Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited be included as one of the Members of Single Window Clearance Committee at the District Level, to provide value added services to the entrepreneurs who are setting up / expanding their units in the state of Tamil Nadu.
