ORDER:

In the Government Order first read above orders were issued for the formation of District Export Guidance Cell in each district and a State Level Export Guidance Cell for promotion of export trade by SSI units. Accordingly Export Guidance Cells were set up in the District Industries Centres in all districts. Appreciating the need for a separate Computer system for the Export Guidance Cells, orders were issued in the Government Order second read above, sanctioning a sum of Rs 11.25 lakhs to provide Computers and Accessories for 14 District Industries Centres and Directorate of Industries and Commerce under Part II Schemes 2004-05 in the first phase.

2. Now the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce in his letter third read above has sent proposal for provision of Computer systems and accessories for the remaining 16 districts given below:

Karur

Kanyakumari

Nagapattinam

Namakkal

Nilgiris

Perambalur

Pudukkottai

Ramanathapuram

Sivaganga

Thiruvallur

Thiruvannamalai

Thiruvarur

Tirunelveli

Villupuram and

Krishnagiri.

He has also proposed to provide a Lap Top Computer to the Directorate to monitor the implementation of schemes and 2 Computers to Small Industries Department, Secretariat for on-line monitoring of the functioning of Export Guidance Cells at a total cost of Rs 10.00 lakhs under Part II Schemes

2005-06. He has furnished the break-up details as given below:

3. The Government after careful consideration have decided to accept the proposal of Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce in para 2 above. Accordingly sanction is accorded for a non-recurring expenditure of Rs 10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs only) for provision of one Computer with accessories to 16 District Industries Centres mentioned in para 2 above, one LAP TOP with accessories to the Directorate of Industries and Commerce and 2 Computer with accessories to the Small Industries Department, Secretariat under Part II Schemes, 2005-06.

4. The expenditure sanctioned in para 3 above shall be debited to the following head of account:

" 2851-00-Village and Small Industries - 102 Small Scale Industries - Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan - II - State Plan - LF State Industries Centres - 76 Computers and other accessories - 01 - Purchase.

5. The Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce is authorised to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 3 above for provision of Computers and accessories to 16 District Industries Centres, One LAP TOP to the Directorate of Industries and Commerce and 2 Computers and accessories to the Small Industries Department, Secretariat. Tender Transparency Rules shall be followed scrupulously while purchasing Computer and accessories.

6. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No.24758/Ind/05-1, dated 7.4.2005.
