ORDER:
The Industries Commissioner and
Director of Industries and Commerce in his letter
second read above has sent proposals to give State
Level Awards to three best performing Financial
Institutions and to three women entrepreneurs under
New Anna Marumalarchi Thittam at a total cost of
Rs.1.00 lakh for 2005-06.
2. The Government announced New
Anna Marumalarchi Thittam scheme for improvement
of Rural Economy and to generate rural employment.
This scheme is being implemented in each of the
385 blocks in the State. 70% of the units under
New Anna Marumalarchi Thittam are set-up by availing
financial assistance from the Financial Institutions.
To motivate the Financial Institutions for effectively
promoting the scheme, a scheme to give away awards
to the best performing three financial Institutions
is proposed.
3. Government is encouraging women
by giving special support. Therefore, it is proposed
to give Awards to three best performing New Anna
Marumalarchi Thittam units established by women
entrepreneurs. Awards will be given as detailed
below :
For Bankers
1 st Prize Memento Worth Rs.10000/-
with certificate
IInd prize memento Worth Rs. 5000/-
with certificate
IIIrd prize memento Worth Rs.3000/-
with certificate
Total Rs.18000
For Women entrepreneurs
1 st prize Memento Worth Rs.10000/-
with certificate
IInd prize memento Worth Rs. 5000/-
with certificate

4. The Industries Commissioner
and Director of Industries and Commerce has, therefore,
requested the Government to sanction a sum of R.1.00
lakh for the year 2005-06 for the purpose of giving
State Level Award to financial Institution and
to women entrepreneurs for their best performance
under New Anna Marumalarchi Thittam.
5.The Government have examined
and decided to accept the above proposal under
Part II scheme 2005-06. Accordingly, sanction is
hereby accorded for incurring an expenditure not
exceeding Rs.1.00 lakh (Rupees one lakh only),
for giving awards to the best performing three
financial institutions and best performing three
New Anna Marumalarchi Thittam units established
by women entrepreneurs.
6. The expenditure sanctioned
in para 5 above shall be debited to :

7. The Industries Commissioner
and Director of Industries and Commerce is authorised
to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned on para
5 above.
8. This orders issues with the
concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No.
35784/ (Inds.) / 2005-1 dated 18.5.2005.
