ORDER:
During
the discussions on Demand No.42 of Small Industries,
in the Legislative Assembly held on 24/03/05,
the Minister (Rural Industries) has made the
following announcement, among others: CÁªî£N™ Üô°èœ Hø ñ£GôƒèO™ ï¬ìªðÁ‹ àŸðˆF ªð£¼œèœ ꣘‰î «îCò Ü÷Mô£ù ªî£N™ è‡è£†CèO™ ðƒ«èŸð¬î á‚°M‚°‹ õ¬èJ™ Üóƒ° õ£ì¬èJ™ 25 êîiî‹ ÜFèð†êñ£è Ï.3 Þô†ê‹ ñ£Qòñ£è õöƒèŠð´‹.
2005-06 Ý‹ ݇®™ Þ¶ «ð£¡ø 15 ªî£N™ è‡è£†CèO™ ðƒ«èŸè Ï.45 Þô†ê‹ ñ£Qò‹ õöƒèŠð´‹.
2. Based on the above announcement,
the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries
and Commerce in his letter read above, has sent
proposals for sanction of funds for the scheme.
3. The Government after careful
consideration, accept the proposal of the Industries
Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce
and direct that 25% of the stall rent not exceeding
Rs.3.00 lakhs per exhibition be granted as subsidy
to the SSI units which participate in product based
national level exhibitions organised in other States
of the Country for market promotion of products
manufactured by SSI units.
4. Accordingly sanction is accorded
for incurring an expenditure not exceeding Rs.45.00
lakhs (Rupees Forty Five Lakhs only) towards subsidy
on stall rent not exceeding Rs.3.00 lakhs per exhibition
as subsidy to SSI units which participate in National
Level Product based Exhibitions held in other States.
The subsidy amount of Rs.3.00 Lakhs shall be per
exhibition for specific product based National
Level Expos conducted in other States. It will
be apportioned proportionate to their area of occupation
among the participating SSI units.
5. The expenditure sanctioned
above shall be debited to the following new head
of account to be opened under Demand No.42, Small
Industries:-
"2851 – 00 – Village and Small
Industries 102. Small Scale Industries – I. Non
Plan – CW – Grants to Small Scale Industrial Units
for participating in National Level Exhibition – 09.
Grants-in-aid – 01. Grants for Exhibition (DPC
2851 00 102 CW 0916).
6. The Director of Industries
and Commerce is the estimating reconciling and
controlling authority for the above new head of
account in the accounts.
7. The expenditure sanctioned
in para 4 above shall constitute an item of New
Service and approval of the Legislature will be
obtained in due course. Pending approval of the
Legislature the expenditure will be met by an advance
from the Contingency Fund. Orders regarding this
will be issued by the Government in Finance (BG.I)
Department separately. The Industries Commissioner
and Director of Industries and Commerce is requested
to apply to the Government in Finance Department
in the prescribed proforma along with this order
for the sanction of an advance from the Contingency
Fund. The Industries Commissioner and Director
of Industries and Commerce is also requested to
send necessary explanatory notes for the inclusion
of the above expenditure in the First Supplementary
Estimate 2005-2006.
8. The Industries Commissioner
and Director of Industries and Commerce is authorised
to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para
4 above as and when necessary as per the procedure
specified in para 6 above.
9. This order issues with the
concurrence of the Finance Department vide its
UO No.41871/Ind/05-1 dated 13.6.05 and the ASL
