ANNEXURE.

NOTIFICATION.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Tamil Nadu General Sales Tax Act, 1959 (Tamil Nadu Act 1 of 1959), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes an exemption in respect of the tax payable by any dealer under the said Act, on the sale of one hundred and two Fibre Glass Boats fitted with Greaves Marine Engines to Sri Ramakrishna Math, 31, Ramakrishna Road, Myalpore, Chennai-4 and to Sri Ramakrishna Mission, Hanumanthaputheri, Chengalpattu for distribution to Tsunami affected fishermen, subject to filing of declaration by the dealer duly certified by the officials authorised by the District Collector concerned or the Director of Fisheries, Chennai in the Forms appended to this notification.

2. The Notification shall be deemed to have come into force on the 18 th February 2005 and shall be deemed to have been in force upto and inclusive of the 31 st March 2005.
