The parent Company, Suguna Industries
was established in the year 1958 under
the stewardship of Sri.G.Ramaswamy the
Founder and Chairman of the Suguna Group
of Industries. With his vast experience
and leadership, the Company has grown leaps
and bounds and has created a name for itself
as a leader in the Electric Motor and Pump
Industry in India with a group Turnover
of about Rs.100 Crores.

The Social Face of Suguna
SUGUNA CHARITABLE TRUST was
formed in the year 1973 . The
trust runs a free medical clinic and a
dental clinic in this premises. Free treatment
and medicines are provided to the poor
community. The Dental clinic is equipped
with latest equipments. The trust also
conducts free medical camp in the rural
areas.
The ‘Suguna Industrial Training Centre',
started in the year 1994 is providing quality
training. The ‘ Suguna Polytechnic College
' was started by the Trust in 1997. Both
these institutions are approved by NCVT
and AICTE.
In the year 2002,
the Trust established a Public School at
Nehru Nagar, Kalapatti, Coimbatore , which
provides quality education in CBSE syllabus. ‘Suguna
Vidya Niketan', started in the year 2003
at Vilankurichi Road , Coimbatore provides
free English medium schooling, Uniform and
books. The Trust also provides scholarships
to the deserving and economically poor students.
