Our Company Madras Hardtools Private Limited is a Medium Scale Industry and a Member of Associated Wire Rope Fabricators (AWRF), U.S.A & International Ship Suppliers Association (ISSA) , U.K. It was established in the year 1972 as a Partnership Firm and then converted as Private Limited company in the year 1985.

We have been Distributors for “Usha Martin “ Steel Wire Ropes from the year 1972. Usha Martin Industries Limited is the largest Wire Rope manufacturing company in South East Asia and rank 2 nd in the World. In 1983, we acquired a vast land measuring about 16 Acres for warehouse facilities for stocking Wire Rope at Puduvoil which is just 40 KM away from Chennai City and also developed an Allied Industrial Activity of making Wire Rope Slings value addition to Rope.

We have subsequently established 6 Branch offices at Bangalore , Secunderabad, Vizag , Cochin , Coimbatore and Tuticorin and also have a Liaison Office at Kolkata and Mumbai.

Further we have installed two Windmills of 250 KW each, one at Poolavadi Village in Erode District and the another one at Pazhavoor Village in Thirunelveli District. The electricity generated by the Windmills is used for own consumption for our manufacturing plant and also sold to Tamil Nadu Electricity Board.

Our Company has been rated “SE 2A” by Dun & Bradstreet Information Services India Pvt. Ltd ( D&B) under the Performance and Credit rating scheme of NSIC (National Small Industries Corpn. Ltd.) “SE” Stands for Small Enterprises, “2” stands for High Performance Capability & “A” stands for Highest Financial Strength.

We are manufacturing Wire Rope Slings upto 100mm Dia. We also manufacture Web Slings & Polyester Slings, Open type Sockets, Wire Lock Compounds, Shackles, Hooks and Wire Rope Pulley Blocks.
