"DORVEN" is the acronym of "DORAISAMY VENKATRAMA IYER", the grandfather of the promoters S. Sankaralakshmi and R. Sivasubramanian. Mr. Doraisamy Venkatrama Iyer hailed from an agro family in a village called Narthamalai in the Pudukkottai district of Tamilnadu and was a pioneer in creating new rural business activities.
The company's goal is to be predominantly in food business; for achievement of this goal we have to be well supported by agriculture, ecology and biotechnology. So the name has been coined as agro-eco-bio.
Mrs. S. Sankaralakshmi, managing director hailing from an agro-family, a commerce graduate and well trained in food processing.
Mr. R. Sivasubramanian a graduate in Chemistry, Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA), the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (FICWA), and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (FCS). He is trained in food processing as well. He has a wide industrial experience and traveled widely both domestic and internationally.

Dehydrated Fruits:
Banana fruits of smaller varieties are dehydrated and packed nicely in blisters. The food values of the fruits are intact and the shelf life is three months.

Pickles:
Banana flower pickles (Thokku):
Thokku is a special form of pickle. The ingredients smashed into a colloidal paste that would enhance the taste of the product. These are made from the fingers of the banana flowers. There are two variants with garlic and the other without garlic. The product is tasty and to be used as a side dish for foods like idly, dosa, chappati and Poori. It can be used for the preparation of parathas and masala dosas.

Banana Fruit Pickles:
These pickles are made from unripe fruits of cooking variety of banana. There are two variants with and without garlic. The Company has sourced technology from the National Research Centre for Banana for the above two pickle products.

Lime Pickle Thokku:
Fresh lime fruits are smashed and along with the juice mixed with other ingredients to make this pickle. This is a tasty and different lime pickle.
Other Citrus fruits:
Kidarangai and Narthangai are two tasty citrus fruits and the south Indian people would love to have these pickles as part of their meal.
Mango-ginger Thokku:
This is a variety of ginger predominantly grown in South India. This smells like mango and so the name. A very tasty product and the Thokku form are very new.
Amla Thokku pickle:
A different form of Amla pickle and adds value to the meal. This can be used along with the dish like idly, rice, dosa, chappati and Poori. Amla has got lot of vitamin values and enhances the taste of the food.
Garlic Thokku:
This is prepared from garlic and it is a traditional blend of aroma and taste. This can be used as gravy also for Non-vegetarian items.
Multi-Vegetable Thokku:
This is new pickle with raddish, drumstick, onion garlic and other vegetables. This is a tasty product. We have more varieties to come under this pickle category.
Fruit-ups:
These are new product ranges with fruits as the main ingredients. These are candy/toffee that could be comfortably given to children. They contain natural sweeteners.
Banana based RTS-Beverage:
This is manufactured from banana fruits as the key ingredient and others like sugar syrup, citric acid and ascorbic acid are added little to add more value.

These are bakery biscuits made from banana powders / fibres as key ingredients. Very tasty and value added biscuits well suited for snack times.
